September is a preparation month. No new Warframe drops in it, the fall update is still weeks out, and that is exactly why it is the most useful month on the calendar.
On the calendar
- 3 September — Double Affinity weekend
- 4 September — dev stream, expected to cover Iceblade of Narin
- Baro Ki'Teer, as always, every fortnight on a Friday
Our Baro countdown is calculated by ALMANAC, our own engine, so it keeps running whether or not any external service is up. You can see his next arrival on the Baro tracker at any time.
What is actually worth banking
Every big update arrives with the same three bottlenecks, and every one of them is farmable right now while nothing is competing for your time.
Forma. You will not know Narin's polarities until the frame is out, but you will need them. Build them in the background; the eight-hour timer is the only real cost.
Endo and Kuva. A rework means re-modding. The Banshee rework in particular will have people pulling her out of storage for the first time in years, and an un-modded Banshee is not a Steel Path Banshee.
Steel Path access. If your star chart is not finished, finish it. Every recent update has put its best rewards behind Steel Path variants.
A double-affinity weekend is not just for levelling
Affinity weekends are the cheapest time to burn through the weapons sitting at rank zero in your foundry. Rank them, use the mastery, and clear the inventory space before an update hands you six new things to build.
Set an alert on the World State board and we will tell you when the stream drops.
