The Prime Resurgence rotation swapped in Revenant Prime and Baruuk Prime at the start of the month, and between them they cover two of the most useful roles a Tenno can own.
Revenant Prime — the one that does not die
Mesmer Skin is still, years later, one of the most straightforward answers to "how do I stop dying in Steel Path". It converts incoming hits into charges absorbed rather than damage taken, which means it does not care about armour scaling, status, or how many Corrupted Bombards are looking at you.
Revenant is the frame people recommend to newer players and then quietly keep using for the next two thousand hours. If you have been bouncing off Steel Path, he is the shortest path through it.
Baruuk Prime — the one that ends rooms
Baruuk is the opposite temperament and roughly the same outcome. Serene Storm turns accumulated restraint into a damage state that clears a room without ammunition, and Lull is one of the best crowd-control abilities in the game precisely because it is quiet and unconditional.
He asks more of you than Revenant does — the restraint mechanic wants to be understood rather than ignored — and he rewards it.
Which one, if you can only pick
If you want to stop dying: Revenant. If you already do not die and want to stop shooting: Baruuk.
If you can afford both, both. Regal Aya has no expiry and the rotation does.
