Amir's Shockwave: Nightwave Goes Back to 1999

Amir of the Hex has taken over Nightwave, and he has brought 1999 with him.

A remixed season

This is Nightwave, but hosted by Amir — his own edition, with rewards that have not appeared in a season before. If you have been sitting on a stack of unfinished weeklies, this is the season to actually clear them; a remix season is exactly where the unusual cosmetics live.

Fables & Frontiers: Running Late

Alongside the season, Amir and his Protoframe teammates star in Fables & Frontiers: Running Late — a miniature narrative adventure delivered through KIM, the messaging system introduced with the 1999 content.

KIM has quietly become one of the best things Warframe has built. It is a character delivery system that does not need a cutscene budget, and Running Late is a good excuse to see it used for a self-contained story rather than a slow-burn relationship track.

Also worth knowing

Jade Stars picked up a line-of-sight check. Motes now need a clear line to an enemy before the procs and damage apply. If your Jade build leaned on shooting through terrain, it is worth a look before you next take her into Steel Path.
